Your complete package for professional book publishing

We guide you step by step from your manuscript to the finished book – professionally, structured, and publication-ready for print-on-demand and e-book platforms.

1. Manuscript Review & Editorial Comments

If your manuscript is already the current version, we'll work directly with it. If not, please send us the latest version first.

You will receive a commented manuscript version with detailed AI editorial notes and improvement suggestions for linguistic, stylistic and content enhancement as a DOCX document (MS Word-compatible). You can implement these yourself.

Optionally, you can use the scribigo Textbuddy to automatically revise the comments with AI support.

Once you're done, send us your revised final version back.

2. Translation into a foreign language (optional)

An AI-based fiction or non-fiction translation of your book into a common target language of your choice is already included in the package.

Possible target languages include, for example, English, French, Spanish, Italian and other common languages (availability should be clarified in advance if necessary).

For each additional translation, we charge a flat fee of 50 euros.

Delivery is as a DOCX document.

3. Proofreading and Quality Assurance

Before book layout, we perform another AI proofreading and careful quality assurance. We check spelling, grammar and punctuation to make your manuscript as error-free as possible.

You then receive the final version as a DOCX document for review and approval for book layout. After this approval, no further changes to the DOCX file are possible.

4. Professional Book Layout for Print

We professionally layout your book for printing. We take into account your desired format (e.g. 13 × 21 cm for a novella) as well as individual wishes such as initials, special fonts or layout styles.

Included in the package is one target format in one language of your choice, for example as a paperback or hardcover.

If you need additional editions that require independent or significantly revised book layout – for example due to a different format, hardcover and paperback variants with different page layouts or another language version – we charge a flat fee for this 100 euros per additional edition.

First you receive a rough draft of the first chapters for approval. Then we create the final book layout.

You provide the imprint yourself depending on the PoD service provider you choose (e.g. BoD, tredition or epubli) – these platforms usually generate it automatically.

After your final approval, the print layout is completed and you receive the final design as a PDF document.

5. E-Book Creation

After print approval, we create your e-book. This is based on the print layout but is technically adapted to the requirements of e-readers. A 1:1 identity is not technically possible.

Included in the package is the creation of the e-book in one language.

For each additional language version, we charge a flat fee of 50 euros.

You receive the e-book in EPUB format.

6. Cover Design

For your cover we need a detailed brief with the following information:

• Author
• Title
• Optional: Subtitle
• Optional: Genre additions (e.g. ‹Thriller›, ‹North Sea Crime›)
• Genre, mood and special elements
• Back cover text (optionally we can also create this for you)
• Your own ideas, AI drafts or design inspirations
• IMPORTANT: 2–3 example covers you like that should show the direction

You will first receive a rough cover draft for approval. After that, we will create the final cover design.

The package includes the creation of the cover for printing (PDF) as well as for the e-book (JPG) in one language in one format.

For each additional language version in the same format, we charge a flat fee of 50 euros.

For each additional different format (for example paperback vs. hardcover), we charge a flat fee of 100 euros.

6. Publication with the PoD service provider

To set up, you must first create an account with a service provider of your choice using your basic information.

We will then take care of:

• Setting up book publication
• Uploading manuscript and cover
• Entering all necessary metadata
• Preparing the publication

The prerequisite is that you provide us with temporary access credentials.

Alternatively, we can help you on a case-by-case basis with the setup if you run into any issues.

Legal notices

Upon full payment, you receive unrestricted usage rights to the layouts, cover designs, translations, and other design services created by us for your project, insofar as this is legally permissible.

You warrant that you have the necessary rights to all texts, images, trademarks, and other content provided by you. We assume no liability for legal violations resulting from content you provide.

Insofar as AI-supported tools are used in the provision of services, this is done to the best of our knowledge and belief. We cannot guarantee the copyright protection or trademark registration eligibility of individual design elements.

Final responsibility for content, approvals, legal requirements, and publication lies with you – as is customary in self-publishing.
